I have always preferred a low-key NYE and have noticed many more people doing the same in the past few years. Running around, overpaying for drinks and food, too noisy to actually talk with your friends and loved ones... who needs that? (And with a Lady M crepe cake, it must have been an incredibly delicious celebration!)

quiet home celebrations are pretty romantic! My husband and I spent this New Year's Eve at home too and it was pretty nice :)

Simple and lovely. I prefer quieter NYEs too.

Your blog is wonderful. So glad I stumbled upon it. The interior shots are such an inspiration as my fiance and I decorate our first home!
